Before he joined Aramark where he is now the Chief AI Officer, Pavan Arora was the Chief Data Officer & Director for technology giant IBM Watson. In this role he was responsible for sourcing non-traditional data and enriching it for insights, created catalog of off-the-shelf ‘Industry Knowledge’ that plugs into AI solutions with machine-readable content, and conceived and built organization that monetizes data for IBM and its clients.

He is also a strategic advisor on acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence and leading integration efforts, along with an 18-year portfolio of success driving accelerated change through data-driven digital transformation.

Pavan studied Political Science and Economics at The John Hopkins University, as well as Managerial Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
