Axel is a scientist and an entrepreuneur. After PhD studies in theoretical particle physics, he became CTO of an artificial intelligence startup in insurtech.  He then co-founded a startup performing automated diagnostic from medical images using Deep Learning. Since 2017 he applies Deep Learning and machine learning to quantitative trading. His main interests are Deep Learning, Blockchain  and cryptocurencies.
