Apurv is a visiting researcher at HBS focusing on applying AI and alternative data to better measure and predict the macroeconomy. He writes academic articles, speaks at industry conferences, and advises start-ups on the topic. Before HBS, Apurv co-founded and acted as the finance lead of a 10-person team at Microsoft applying AI to asset management, managed a $3B bond portfolio, was a senior researcher at the global macro hedge fund Bridgewater Associates, and an options trader at Deutsche Bank.
